Christina graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Studies from the University of South Florida. During college, she was the Vice President and Social Chair of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and an Associate Justice of the university’s student government. After graduating from college, she worked for two years as a legal assistant in her hometown of Miami, Florida. Christina attended American University Washington College of Law, where she served as the Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Labor & Employment Law Forum and the President of the Latina/o Law Students’ Association. During law school, she participated in her school’s Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented clients in unemployment benefits cases. She also interned at the United States Department of Labor and at the Maryland Court of Appeals, the highest appellate court in Maryland.
